Senior Appointment at Towergate
Towergate has announced the appointment of Ian Patrick as Group
Finance Director. Patrick's broad financial management experience
includes ten years in the insurance industry, most recently as
Group Finance & Operations Director at Lloyd's motor
underwriter, Highway Insurance.
Patrick replaces David Torrance, who is retiring as Group
Finance Director of Towergate Partnership at the end of June after
joining the company in 2002. Torrance has been reappointed to the
Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Chairman Peter Cullum paid tribute to Torrance "Since David
joined us, our revenue has quadrupled and we have made over fifty
acquisitions, yet managed to maintain high standards of financial
control and critical management information. Fortunately we will
still be able to tap into David’s vast experience in his new
Non-Executive role. We welcome Ian to the Board of Towergate".
