Towergate strengthens presence in Hull through
acquisition of Rixon Matthews Appleyard Ltd
Towergate Partnership today announces the
acquisition of Hull insurance broking firm, Rixon Matthews
Appleyard Ltd. Under the deal, all 25 staff have made the
move to Towergate. The acquisition increases Towergate’s
visibility in Hull where it already has a strong broking
operation.
Rixon Matthews Appleyards is an established
business set up over 40 years ago. The business controls
premiums of £10m with a strong commercial and personal lines
business and specialist niches including garden centre, glasshouses
and growers schemes.
