Towergate Insurance announces appointment of Philip Moore as
Independent Non-executive Director

Towergate Insurance (‘Towergate’) has today announced the
appointment of Philip Moore as an independent non-executive
director and Chair of Audit Committee, subject to FSA approval.
This follows the recent appointments of Truett Tate and James
Strachan as independent non-executive directors.
Philip is Group Finance Director at LV= having formerly been
group finance partner and chief risk officer with the Pensions
Corporation. Prior to this he was group finance director and
latterly group chief executive at Friends Provident. He has also
held roles at AMP, NPI and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Commenting on this appointment, Alastair Lyons, non-executive
chairman of Towergate, said: “I am delighted to welcome Philip to
the Towergate Board. His extensive financial and operational
experience will be a great asset to Towergate as we progress our
ambitious plans”.
