Mike Lawton joins Towergate Insurance as CEO Broking

Towergate Insurance is today pleased to announce the appointment
of Mike Lawton as Chief Executive of its Broking Division.
In this role, Mike will manage the strategic growth plans for
more than 40 regional broking businesses across the UK.
Mike joins Towergate from RSA where he has been Director of
RSA's UK Mid-Market division since January 2009. He joined RSA in
Jan 2006 as sales director, before that having spent 10 years with
GE running a consumer finance business.
Commenting on this appointment, Michael Rea, CEO Towergate
Retail Division, said:

he is ideally suited to take advantage of the opportunities that
