Towergate Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Oliver Corbett as Interim Chief Financial Officer.
Oliver replaces Scott Egan, who has become Interim Chief Executive as part of the recently announced Executive Team changes.
Oliver was previously Chief Financial Officer of the London Clearing House, the international clearing and central counter party operating in London, Paris and New York. Prior to that role, he was Chief Financial Officer of Novae Group, the specialist London market underwriter, between 2003 and 2012. He is also a non-executive director and chair of the Audit Committee of Close Brothers.
US based Marc Vassanelli will no longer be taking up the role as Interim Chief Financial Officer as previously announced. Delays in the visa application process resulted in the short-term post not being practical.
Scott Egan, Interim CEO, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Oliver to Towergate. He is another great appointment and has a huge amount of relevant experience that will bring real value to the Group. I look forward to working closely with him for the interim period.”
