Coronavirus help and support for our Towergate Insurance Brokers customers

Valuation Services

Helping you to ensure that your Assets and Business Interruption exposures aren’t underinsured.

Through our specialist surveying partner our Clients have access to a nationwide network of surveyors. They are an expert group of chartered loss adjusters accredited by RICS, offering a wide range of insurance-related services.

For many years they have worked closely with Towergate to provide clients with professional risk management surveying services that help to address the growing problem of underinsurance in the UK economy.

According to research carried out by the Building Cost Information Service, part of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, 80% of commercial properties in England and Wales are underinsured*. It’s an alarming statistic and a situation that could result in significant financial losses for businesses in the event of a claim.

Highly experienced, and with an acute understanding of what can go wrong and why, our specialists also provide surveys designed to assist policyholders/property owners and managing agents in meeting their legal and statutory obligations. Their surveyors typically have CII, RICS and NEBOSH qualifications.

In addition to Buildings and machinery valuations the service can also provide Business Interruption reports by analysing the financial implications associated with material loss or damage

Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Update for Towergate customers

During the COVID-19 Coronavirus crisis, we want to reassure our customers and partners that we are following UK Government guidance,
and as a result our national offices are closed to both safeguard the health of our employees and our ability to look after our valued clients.
Where possible, our employees are working from home and we are still fully able to support with renewals, new cover requirements and
claims guidance and support. This includes giving our colleagues the ability to work from home or alternative locations,
which we hope will limit the disruption and enable you to speak to us for advice and support should you need it.
