Last week, the Chancellor announced a new Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme that will allow all UK employers to access support to continue paying part of their employees’ salary for those employees that would otherwise have been laid off during this crisis. On 26 March 2020, further details on the scheme were released by the Government.
